Bernisa shawl is knit from the bottom up.

The shawl is worked mostly in reverse stockinette using the main color with rows of little flowers worked in 5 contrast colors.

You can use mini skeins as the contrast colors or even leftovers would be great.

Both sides of the shawl are attractive and the size is easily adjusted.

Materials

The shawl requires approx. 300 gr (1313 yds / 1200 m) of Fingering Yarn. 200 gr (875 yds / 800 m in Main Color and each 20 gr (88 yds / 80 m) in 5 Contrast Colors

The sample shown used 2 skeins of Mokosh by Hey Mama Wolf (Fingering 100% Merino, 437 yds / 400 m per 100 gr), colorway: Oak galls AND 5 small skeins of Mokosh by Hey Mama Wolf (Fingering, 100% Merino, 88 yds/80 m per 20 gr)

One US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 32 “ / 60 cm or longer, stitch markers (optional), tapestry needle
