Berries & Buds
Every year for my daughter’s birthday I knit her a sweater.
Last year it was this one, in her favorite color, with little “berries” on it, and I loved how she treasured it until it got too small for her.
Hope you enjoy making as much as I did!
Consider making a size up (ask me how I know)!
Construction:
Buds Sweater is a top down seamless sweater, a mix of a round yoke and raglan shape, with contrasting neckband, sleeve cuffs and body hem.
There is a little bit of stranded colorwork and a row of bubbles at the neckline for added interest. Sleeves are long and do not include any shaping.
Materials:
Yarn:
For the sample I used:
MC: Leading Men Fiber Arts Diva (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk; 600 yards / 548 yards / 150 grams), Fingering weight.
Color: Bent Neck Lady.
CC: Leading Men Fiber Arts Mini Skein (75% Superwash Merino; 25% Nylon; 92 yards / 84 meters / 20 grams), Fingering weight.
Color: Raspberry.
Estimate amounts of fingering weight needed:

CC: about 92 yards / 84 meters (or less) for all sizes.
