Technique:
Embossed crochet: a combination of front post and back post double crochet

Abbreviations:
Traditionally, embossed crochet patterns only included charts and used complex abbreviations, making them less accessible. To simplify, I’ve shortened traditional abbreviations (e.g., FPdc = F, BPdc = B, FPdc2inc = F2i, FPdc2tog = F2t). While these require a brief learning curve, they are intuitive and easier to follow

This pattern includes:
Written instructions in US terms, charts , step pictures, video for bottom band, / graphs

Sizes:

• S (M, L, XL, 2X, 3X)
• Sweater measures 87 (93, 100, 107, 113, 122)cm/ 34 ¼ (36 5/8, 39 3/8, 42 1/8, 44 ½, 48)’’.

Recommended materials:

• Scheepjes Catona yarn (100% cotton, 50g/ 125m/ 137yds) in 226/ Light Orchid.

• For short sleeve version: 8 (9, 9, 10, 11, 12) skeins/ 370 (410, 450, 490, 530, 570)g/ 1014 (1124, 1233, 1343, 1453, 1562)yds.

• For long sleeve version: 11 (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins/ 540 (580, 640, 680, 720, 760)g/ 1480 (1590, 1754, 1864, 1973, 2083)yds.

• Crochet hooks 3.5mm, tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers.
