Berry Beads - A Bead Crochet Workshop
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Supplies
- 31 size 11/0, 8/0 or 6/0 beads, or small button or round fwp pearls
- YLI Jean Stitch thread (thread note below)
- 1 med twisted wire needle
- 1 steel crochet hook 1.45mm/American #9 or size preferred
- 1 embroidery or sewing needle that accommodates thread
- 1 button pin or safety pin
- scissors
Work from the bottom up in a spiral. Use a button pin/safety pin or other small stitch marker to keep your place. Easy pattern except for the challenge of working in a small space. Beginners might consider using size 8/0 or 6/0 beads on pearl cotton #8. Using a light colored thread will help you see your stitches. Advice is given to lengthen the shape or make the end rounder or flatter.
Possible uses:
earrings, jewelry component, buttons (with a small bead inserted for body), floral accent
