This pattern was originally designed for Year of Lace 2008. Revised in 2009 for Fiber Trends.

Shawl is made in two halves, from the narrow ends to the middle, then the two halves are grafted together

Needles: 24” or 32” circular needle in US size 3 (3.25 mm); a second circular needle in the same or smaller size.

Yarn Requirements:Approximately 1250 yards of lace weight yarn. Shown in Helen’s Lace from Lorna’s Laces, this shawl was also tested in Dawn from Naturally, using 8 - 25 gr skeins. Both yarns are 50% silk, 50% wool.

Formerly, second of four projects in the Year of Lace Club 2008. The yarn and pattern were exclusive to the club for the first year.
