I have used a double strand of Hannah Tweed DK yarn for this hat. The hat has a band knitted first and then stitches picked up to knit the body of the hat. The stitch is a fun bobble/cable pattern. The yarn I used was hand-dyed and fabulous. It is a little stretchy which gave a marvelous fit. I embellished with antique buttons.
