The Berry Bouclé headband is a super chunky headband that is perfect for using up any Bouclé scraps you might have accumulated from other projects. The headband is knit up in the round, on quite a loose gauge which makes it super squishy without becoming too heavy. In the front, a single cable creates a lovely clean twist.

Materials

  • 6 mm needles (You can use a circular needle, although I personally prefer DPNs for small circumference knitting.)
  • Approximately 35 - 40 (40 - 45) g of Bouclé by Mohair by Canard (170 m per 100 g) held together with approximately 7 - 9 (8 - 10) g of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (225 m per 25 g)
  • 1 measuring tape
  • 1 darning needle to weave in any loose ends
  • stitch markers

Sizing

The pattern is made to measure to fit your head or the head of a loved one perfectly.
Further, two widths are available in the pattern – the first size is a slightly less chunky version and the second one is super chunky (as presented in the pictures) spending lots of lots of warmth for your ears. The two sizes end up to the final widths of 10 (11.5) cm.

General Note: As a “one-woman-show” I translated this pattern myself. As a native German grammar mistakes in the English pattern can occur. In the following weeks I will have someone reed through the English pattern again, an update will be sent out then.
The pattern has been test knitted, so you should be good to go - if you have any questions or problems, please contact me at quasigerade@web.de - Thank you so much for your support!

Happy Knitting!
