Berry Lane Beanie
The Berry Lane Beanie uses bulky weight yarn held together with mohair to create a highly textured, slightly haloed hat. If mohair isn’t your cup of tea, you can absolutely use just the bulky weight yarn alone. This pattern works up super quickly! The pattern includes written directions, a chart of the basic stitch pattern, and a video tutorial (though the tutorial shows the stitch in turned rows rather than joined turned in the round - it is very similar).
The pattern is written for the following sizes:
Toddler (1-2yr): 17”
Child: 19”
Adult Small: 21”
Adult Large: 23”
You will need up to 137 yards of bulky weight yarn and an equivalent amount of mohair, if desired. I used Swish Bulky in Estuary Heather and Aloft Mohair in Kenai. You will also need a pom pom and a tapestry needle for finishing.
