Berries and red blooms remind me of cheerful love notes after a long grey winter (and don’t we all need a little color now and then?). Like an ode to the warm season, Berry Patch is a medium weight crescent-shaped shawlette with tiny knots that mimic ripe berries, feather and fan “trellises” and garter stitch. It’s the perfect small accessory to spice up a summer evening.

Knit from the top center of the crescent with increases at the edges on both the right and wrong side rows, Berry Patch grows side to side, resulting in a long, narrow shawlette with a rounded crescent center.
