Berry the Fruit Fairy
Have you ever seen a Fruit Fairy? No? neither had I until I met Berry. Isn’t she adorable? She’s much like her flower fairy friends, (you must meet Calendula and Daisy too) who look after the flowers.
Berry has an important job you know, she’s the Guardian of the Raspberries and keeps all the raspberry plants safe from harm.
She’s an easy pattern, suitable for Advanced Beginners with a bit of experience/knowledge of common stitches and is a great introduction to working with mini Blackberry stitches (instructions for the stitch are in the pattern) which are great for giving her body a lovely bumpy texture, like a Raspberry.
Gauge is not important and you may use any type of yarn, but using dk and a size 3mm hook she measures approx. 6-7”, if using a thicker yarn she’ll be a wee bit bigger. For yarn suggestions see the post: https://thecraftytherapist.com/2018/09/21/berry-fairy-cro...
