This is Bertha. She is a blobfish from Australia. In 2013 she was voted the world’s ugliest animal. You might think that this would get Bertha down, but she doesn’t really care about what us humans consider to be beautiful. In the blobfish community she is considered to be quite the catch. Her nose is very droopy, her body deliciously round and her eyes are just the right size. She spends her days deep down in the ocean with many other strange creatures. She hopes to one day see the world.
