The Bertie Bloomers are a modern take on vintage baby pants. The Berties take the classic bloomer shape and add a subtle vertical pattern with ribbed details. The legs are shaped higher at the front, making them perfect to be worn with bare legs or layered up with tights for cooler weather.

The bloomers are knit in one piece, casting on at the back waist, working down towards the bottom, shaping for the legs and continuing up the front, casting off at the front waist.

The Bertie Bloomers are designed to be an interesting knitting project, alongside being a cute and versatile addition to any baby’s wardrobe.
