Bertie Cocoon PDF pattern which can be made with or without hood.

Available in NB, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months and 18-24 months.

Although sizes go up to age 2 this is for non moving babies that are happy and comfortable in a cocoon. There is space added for movement but safety warnings are included which need to be taken note of and adhered to.

Pattern is for Aran weight yarn (10 ply) but due to measurements provided any weight yarn can be used. Gauge not important

6mm hook used but smaller hook can be used if prefer less gappy look but please note if you go too small you will lose the pattern

This is a perfect design to provide air circulation provide warmth without overheating but must not be used unsupervised and not suitable for night time use in a cot or other bed. Due to the open design of this should baby slip down there is still air but baby MUST NOT BE LEFT ALONE WHILST USING THIS.

Stitches used are: BPDC, FPDC, TR, DC, HDC, SC and chains.
