This is a digital pattern for “Bertie the Ladybug” plushie designed by Sara Paulsen of SoulCandy Crochet. A basic knowledge of crochet is required, but this pattern is definitely beginner friendly. This is a no-sew pattern crocheted in 1 piece and you will only need to add spots at the end, either by stitching them on or using felt and hot glue . The construction and size makes Bertie a perfect market addition as well. No gauge is provided for this item as varying tensions will cause different outcomes, meeting gauge isn’t necessary to ensure a great outcome for this project!

●Bertie is worked in rounds that are joined with a Slip Stitch (SS) at the end of each round and begin with a CH 1 for the next round, not a continuous spiral. You will not turn your work after joining completed rounds. Slip stitches and beginning chains for each round DO NOT count as a stitch.

●Pattern can be worked using any size yarn with corresponding hook that results in stitches that will not expose stuffing.

●Construction: Bertie is crocheted in a single solid piece. Once you have stuffed and finished the piece, you can stitch on spots or use hot glue to attach felt circles to her body.
