This knitted vest is worked in one piece, in the round, divided at the armholes and then shoulders joined at the end. The vest is an adult version of our child’s Bertie Vest pattern, with the same cable panel at the front.

It has a deeper scoop to the neckline, is designed to be more fitted, and cropped in the body length in a vintage style (although you can knit the vest longer if you prefer to have a full length vest, and the pattern indicates where to elongate). It has the additional detail of a slightly longer back rib hem, with side slits.

This pattern calls for 6-10 x 50g balls of Aran yarn (Based on Drops Nepal 75m per ball), however please factor in more yarn if you wish to knit the vest longer.
