This is the small version of my Beside the Sea baby blanket. For those little ones who like to take their special blanket everywhere!

I’ve used the same stitches and yarn in both. Any DK weight yarn will do but I suggest something that holds its shape well after a wash ;). You could of course use the applique boats in different ways on a blanket, feel free to experiment!
