’Beskedenhed’ is the Danish word for modesty. Beskedenhed is a short sleeved summer cardigan/tee knitted back and forth from the bottom edge and up with a wide neckline, an all over lace pattern and rib edges at the bottom of the body and sleeves. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 26 stitches per 10 centimeters.

The pattern includes directions for knitting a size S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL with chest width 95 (103, 111, 119, 127, 135) centimeters. Size XXL pictured.

The pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is able to work in the round as well as back and forth, follow a small lace chart as well as written instructions; and knows how to make increases, decreases and button holes. (Directions is a combination of charts and text).

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
