This is a fun, lightweight shawl!
The shape is triangular, worked sideways…

The different, beautiful lace sections are divided by some relaxing garter stitch - that way it never gets boring, and it’s still very sociable…
You’ll end up with a very lovely shawl, that is light enough for draping around your neck (see photos)

You can use pretty much any yarn of fingering weight, and feel free to play with the colour changes as you please. I have used a skein of very subtle hand dyed yarn in my sample, along with the other solids - I think it looks very pleasing. But be aware that too ‘busy’ hand dyed yarns may disturb the lace sections a bit, but might look gorgeous in the garter stitch… Anyway - it’s fully up to you :-)
