This luxurious cowl is knit from hand spun sport/dk weight yarn doubled with lace weight. It will work beautifully with dk or worsted weight commercial yarn as well. Seed beads are placed on the lace weight at the centers of the fir cone stitch pattern. The cowl is finished with a satin or velvet ribbon.

US 7 (4.5mm) and US 8 (5mm) needles; US #14 (.75mm) crochet hook; 8/0 seed beads; 1.5” wide satin or velvet ribbon - 1 yard; tapestry needle

Approximately 175 yards of both dk/worsted weight, and lace weight yarns.
