Bespoke
This sweater is knitted top down in one piece. Initially you will work back and forth in rows, until you join to knit in the round when the V-neck is done. The ribbing for the neck is picked up and knitted afterwards.
As this is a Measure & Make pattern, I cannot predict how much yarn you will need. The sample was made for a bust of 105cm and 600g DK was used.
This is a stocking-stitch pattern with minimal cable detail on the raglan stripes and under the arms. The cable is an eight-row repeat pattern; a row counter is important.
You can knit this pattern with any yarn, with needles suitable to the yarn, and you can make it for any body size, from toddler to adult male, as it is a Measure and Make pattern.
You have two options for the sleeve and body edges; you can either knit a ribbing, or you can do a fold-over hem.
Top-down V neck patterns are few and far between. With this one, you will never need another pattern. Don’t feel like cables? Simply omit them. Don’t feel like stocking stitch? Knit something else. The pattern is easy to adapt to your individual needs.
