Best of Buds
A dishcloth with simplified bobbles, knitted flat, from the bottom up.
Put two of my dishcloths into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.
The pattern comes with charts as well as row by row written instructions, and instructions on how to change size for a larger item with the same stitch pattern.
I always loved the look of bobbles in knitting, but like so many others, I couldn’t really enjoy making them with all the turning back and forth. Mirror knitting helped with this a little, but not enough. So I kept experimenting until I found a way to make bobbles quicker, easier, and give them a neat look.
I’ll be the first to point out that they are not incredibly practical on a dishcloth… But they sure look cute! The piece makes a nice gift, decoration, can act as a blanket square, or it can be resized for a larger item like a baby blanket, placemat etc.
