Are you a girlie girl? Do you know a girlie girl, someone as sweet as sugar? This small shawl is so feminine, it features a halo as soft as a tiny kitten, and glistening with sweet beads among the easy lace stitches.
This is a shawl to accent just about anything, but I see it over a sweet sundress or a lovely camisole.
The lace is charted. The easy to read chart is only easy decreases and yarn overs and a bit of hooked on beading.
ERRATA: The definition of w&t (wrap and turn) is missing from the abbreviations in the pattern.
Here is the definition:
W&t = Wrap and turn: Slip next stitch, now bring yarn to opposite side of work between needles. Return slipped stitch back to the left hand needle. Return yarn to original side of work between needles.
I’m sorry for the omission. Please download the current Pattern pdf from ravelry. It has been corrected.
Row 5 should read:
Row 5 (rs): K to locking st marker, remove locking st marker, k previously wrapped st and wrap tog as in illustration below, k5, w&t, place locking st marker through newly wrapped st.
