The Dolls are knitted flat on straight knitting needles and seamed, using mattress stitch.
Safety eyes are used although you can embroider them if you wish.
Betsy and Bens hair is knitted, Betsy’s bow is sewn into place.
Their nappy/ diaper is removable and secured with buttons.
The head and body are knitted in one piece, the arms and legs are knitted separately and sewn on.

3.25mm (UK 10 /US 3) Doll
4mm (UK 8 /US 6) diaper/nappy

Tension for 3.25mm needles- 26sts x 30 rows = 10cm (4”) stst. Square
