Betsy Ross’ original USA flag design is honored in this Fourth of July project. The flag is made in sections and then seamed. Each star is individually made and sewn on.

The flag has a small slit at the bottom for you to hang your paper chain and count down the days to America’s Independence Day.

In addition to the pattern for the flag there are two photo tutorials included. The pattern includes a complete stitch diagram, row-by-row instructions, and tips and tricks for special stitches and assembly. The two photo tutorials are for the Itsy-Bitsy Stars appliqué, and Crocheting Over a Pipe Cleaner.
