Lattice lace work combines with knit
and purl ridges to give this lovely lace
scarf a really delicate feel. Knitted in 4
ply (or sock) yarn, this is a cosy and
light scarf perfect for chilly spring or
autumn winds. Pattern has an option
for a 200g wrap version for extra
shoulder coverage.
The pattern is written with beginner
lace knitters in mind. Using a only
simple stitches, the mesh lace and rib
sections angle gracefully across this
scarf.
This scarf is named in honour of our
former neighbour, a surrogate mother
and grandmother to our children. A
rock in times of need, always ready
with a cup of tea, a shoulder to cry on
or an offer to babysit! We sadly had to
leave her behind when we moved 140
miles away & she is much missed
