Betty Jean McNeil Cardigan
This is pattern is a tribute to my paternal grandmother, a fantastic lady with whom I was very close as a child, and who I still miss. To read more about her, and about the sweater I designed in her honor, check out the pattern page.
The pattern includes photos, schematics, and charts, and is sized to fit busts between 30 and 54 inches.
Errata:
Pattern requires 17(18, 19, 19, 20, 20) buttons (not included in original pattern).
-
Page 4, column 1: After finishing armhole decreases, all stitch counts are short by 18 sts. Stitch counts at this point should read “210(218, 244, 260, 276, 292, 308) sts (including three 9-stitch steeks).” This was just a notation error; all following shaping, etc., remains correct.
-
Page 4, bottom of column 1: Instructions should read “Work even until piece measures 4.5(5, 5.25, 5.75, 6, 6.5, 7) inches from held armhole sts.” (Rather than “bound-off armhole sts.”)
