Betty Pullover
by Jill Wright
Contrasting textures merge neatly in this short-sleeve top, with the rippled body pattern created using only chains and double-crochet stitches. The ribbed collar is refined when buttoned and paired with pearls and a pencil skirt or pedal pushers; let the collar lie flat and unbuttoned for an easy look with jeans.
HOOK Size E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS Locking st markers (m); yarn needle; two 1 1⁄8” buttons; matching thread.
GAUGE 20 sts and 103/4 rows = 4” in main ripple patt; 20 sts and 22 rows = 4” in rib patt.
