The Betty socks are inspired by the glamorous character Betty from the “Madmen” TV series. The flowery pattern represents Betty’s traditionally feminine style, as she is known for iconic 1950s dresses, pretty prints and pearls.

Construction:
Instructions are included for both toe up and cuff down construction. The pattern uses a heel flap and gusset, and features a delicate flower pattern along the side of the sock. The pattern uses magic loop, but can also be adapted to use DPNs. Charts are included for the patterns in addition to written line by line instructions.

Sizes:
There are 3 sizes available: Small (56 sts) Medium (64 sts) and Large (72 sts).

Yarn:
300-400yds of fingering weight yarn.

Needle sizes:
2.25mm / US 1 (or any to obtain gauge)

Gauge:
30 sts / 42 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch
