Betty’s Christmas Sweater Dog Coat Crochet Pattern PDF. The dog coat pattern has five sizes but can be adapted to fit any dog shape. The pattern comes with diagrams, photos and written instructions.

The dog coat is shaped to fit over the back, and fastens with a tab/band under the tummy.

Worked for Christmas with poinsettia coloured flowers, but use any colours for extra fun.

The pattern has both UK and US versions.

Materials
4.00 mm hook
2(3,3,4,5) x Rowan pure wool superwash DK shade 023 Shamrock 125m/137yds per 150 gm ball.
2(3,3,4,5) x Rowan pure wool superwash DK shade 036 Kiss 125m/137yds per 150 gm ball.
1(1,1,1,2) x Rowan pure wool superwash DK shade 051 Gold 125m/137yds per 150 gm ball.
Wool sewing needle
Crochet Stitch markers (open ended) optional

Tension
Work 1 basic floral square using no 4 mm crochet hook. When finished it should measure 8.5 cm square (3⅓ inches square). Change hook if necessary to achieve the correct size.

To Substitute: Use correct length of any yarn with a knit tension of 22 sts and 28/30 rows to 10 cm ( 4in) square on no 4 mm (US6) needles.
