I called these socks “Between Heaven and Earth” because the cables in my eyes stand for pillars, anchored in the earth but rising into the heaven. Than the pattern changes to lace, the lace bands epresenting ladders into the sky.

The pattern is written for a German size 38/39 foot but can be adapted to a bigger size by adding one purl stitch at the end of each pattern repeat.
