Cables on the ends, Cables on the sides and Cables in the middle!!!! Oh, let’s not forget that touch of lace in between. The top and bottom start with hills of narrow cables working up next into a pattern of meandering cables surrounded by a slanted lace stitch, and bordered on each side edge with a 3 stitch cable that gives the edges a rounded, dimensional look. Worked in one piece---no seaming required! Yeah!

Materials needed for this project are 600 - 650 yds, DK weight yarn. Knit Picks City Tweed used in example. #6, 4mm. straight knitting needles, a cable needle, and 2 stitch markers.

The pattern is in both row by row written and charted instructions

Gauge is not too important on most scarf patterns as different weight yarns and needle sizes will bring a slightly varied look and size, but close enough not to tell much difference. Gauge on this yarn is 22 sts to 4”. Blocking as always is the important step if you wish to so show off the lace.
