This sweater is crocheted all in one piece - sides and back. You start on one side crochet until you’re ready to create an arm hole, crochet the back, and then another arm hole and the second side. When you wrap it around yourself its like being hugged.

You could use any DK weight yarn with this, but I do recommend a variegated color. I think it really adds to the look of the sweater.
