This pattern is written in US terms.
Turning chain does count as a stitch.
Working dc2tog twice creates the dip or lower part of the wave while working 2 dc into 2 sts creates the top or peak of the wave.
You will need to change color as part of this project.
This stitch is multiple of 14 + 3, consider this if you want to make the blanket bigger or smaller than what I have in this pattern.
For the loose feel of this blanket, I would use a larger hook than what the yarn you’re using recommends.
