BFC Headband
BFC is the Big Friggin Cable…a nice cable right down the middle of this headband. Knitted with an i-cord edging, this is sure to be on your holiday gift making list for anyone who needs a little headband to slip on to cover the ears and keep the head warm in the fall or winter chill.
This is a perfect project for a beginner looking to tackle cables, and can either be started with a provisional cast on and grafted closed or started with a regular long-tail cast on, and then seamed with a whip stitch at the end. Either way, it is a stylish accessory to keep you warm without the proverbial “hat head” to mess up your hair.
These will work up in a jiffy with chunky yarn and big needles.
