Diamond Cable and Rib adaptation by Karen Heimburger

Happy feet are a girl’s real best friend. These basic toe-up socks feature a simple 2×2 rib with diamond cable motif along the leg which keeps the socks snug and the knitting interesting.

If you prefer to keep them plain, simply omit the cable and knit the entire sock in 2×2 rib, as shown in green.
