This easy-to-knit dress was originally designed for a Kruselings 9” poseable doll. Sofia is the model. However, I’ve also included an American Girl Mini Doll 6.5” version which also fits a Madame Alexander Story Land Travel Friends 7.5” doll. And I suspect there are other dolls that it will fit also.

The dress uses a small amount of sock yarn, less than 1 ounce, so it is a good stashbuster. It is easy to knit flat. The back skirt seam needs to be sewn. I’ve used three different sock/fingering weights yarn to knit this dress and they all fit the dolls beautifully.

There is also another option for the neckline included with the instructions for the Krueslings doll. It’s a minor change that moves the cowl away from her chin just a tiny bit.
