Bhava shawl

Bhava in Sanskrit mean circle of life. This shawl is knitted flat starting from the center top using a gather tap technic as the set up. Then its work with gather stitch down to the bottom and then side way for the edging cable motif.

The size for the shawl is flexible. You can make it small as a Shawlette or as big as you want. Just remember to save more yarn for the edging ( edging will used up more yarn ).

Needle size I used is 4.5mm 80cm circular needle for my dk weight yarn ( I’ve increase the needle size by 0.5mm ). But you can use any weight yarn for this pattern. Just adjust the needle size accordingly.
