This is the Cowl that started it all - and why I purchased Northwest Wools in 2013 from Linda, Owner #2 (who owned our LYS for 25 years!). I fell in love with mixing Mohair with a Fingering weight multicolor yarn to see what the color result would be! Yowza!! It’s like Alchemy. This version of my easy Bias Drape Cowl pattern is knit holding Rowan “Kid Silk Haze” Mohair double with “Mariquita” from The Alpaca Yarn Company. “Mariquita” is a incredibly soft and drapey yarn, made with 50/50 Baby Alpaca and Tencel (a plant based fiber that takes color like Silk). The Baby Alpaca comes from the herd of Alpacas managed by a small Co-op Farm group - and we love supporting their Hand-dyed yarns! Recommended needle size: US Size 9.

Shown in:
Mariquita Color 566 Atlantis, and
Kidsilk Haze Color 582 Trance.

Pattern free with purchase of kit at Northwest Wools.
