This elephant will measure approximately 10 inches tall when complete. He is worked piece-wise and sewn together. You will need to know basic knitting skills including stockinette stitch, mattress stitch, kfb, k2tog, k2togtbl, switching colors, and button sewing. You will also need to know the loop stitch, working 3 loops per stitch.

350yds DK weight grey yarn
50yds DK weight ivory yarn
Small amount of DK weight pink yarn & black yarn
Washable stuffing
Black buttons for eyes
US 3 needles (straight needles, plus 2 dpns)
