Bib and Tucker
I am now retired from knit design due to progressive arthritis and I am offering my designs to Ravelry users for free. I will not be providing designer support any longer but my patterns are tech edited and almost all have been tested.
In the Old West, slang for wearing your best clothes was wearing your “best bib and tucker.” My cowl and kerchief design commemorates that time. Bib and Tucker is worked top-down with picked up stitches for the kerchief, providing ample opportunity to enjoy intarsia technique with a manageable number of color changes. The cowl section handles color changes in Garter stripes in an attractive way. Finally, master one-row buttonholes with ease! Enjoy!
