Bibben
“Bibben” is a baby bib named after the Middle English word that may be the root of our modern word “bib.” It means “to drink.” This is the first pattern I designed after I found out I was pregnant with my first child, reasoning that I’d probably need a lot of bibs for the baby, given how messy they tend to be.
This pattern uses intarsia to create a garter stitch border for the bib, and has several buttonholes on the fastening so it is adjustable as the baby grows.
