This sweet doll-sized cardigan features bobble details on the sleeves and along the waistline. It is worked seamlessly from the top down, and is trimmed with seed stitch button bands and edging.

Skills needed: increases, decreases, yarn overs, slipped stitches, placing stitches on hold, knitting small circumference in the round. A few German short-rows are used to create a nice neck shape. Wrap and Turn short rows can be used instead if preferred. Includes instructions for bobble stitch and increases. Instructions are written out by row (no charts).

Needles
Size US 3 (3.25 mm) (or size needed to obtain gauge). The body is knit flat, and sleeves are worked in the round, so use 32″ (80cm) or longer circular needles that can be used for both flat knitting and magic loop, or straight needles and DPNs.

Gauge
14 sts x 20 rows = 2″ (5 cm) square in Stockinette stitch after blocking.

Yarn
Fingering weight, approximately 12g/65yds/60m
