This design was inspired by the redwood forest in Big Basin State Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

This pattern was originally published a free sock pattern for members of the Six Sox Knitalong. To join the group, follow the URL. The pattern was in the files section under the pattern folder Feb 2008.

Erratum On page 7 of the PDF file, for size 10, the first and last stitches should be p2 (not p1) for row 10. (Note - the Ravelry download version of this pattern has been corrected. This erratum only applies to the Yahoo Group version of the pattern.)
