Big Birdy
About the design
The bird pattern originated from the children’s sweater BIRDS and later found its way to a pair of BIRDY socks and now ends up in this BIG BIRDY sweater for adults. The sweater is worked top-down with steeks for armholes and set-in sleeves - all in one piece without mounting and without purl stitches in the colorwork.
The sweater is oversized and since the bird pattern is a wide chart, there will be relatively large leaps in the dimensions of the individual sizes. I hope you find a size you will feel comfortable in.
