Big Bluestem
Big Bluestem is a grass found in the tall grass prairie that can grow to be up to 6-8 feet tall. This hat is inspired by the beauty of Big Bluestem grass as it sways in the breeze.
This DK weight hat is a study on colorwork, starting with a corrugated ribbing, followed by a latvian braid, and completing most of the body with stranded colorwork.
The hat is written in three different sizes, for a finished cranium circumference measurement of 17.5”(19.5”, 22”) unstretched and uses 110-130 yards of each color.
