Big Boat Blouse
Construction:
The blouse is knitted from the top down. Stitches are cast on for the neckline and worked in the round, while doing increases on each side of the shoulders. The front and back piece are separated and worked flat, until the armholes reach the correct length. The two pieces are then joined to create the body, which is worked in the round. Stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round, with decreases once the sleeves reach the correct length.
Size guide:
The blouse can be knitted in 8 different sizes, XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL), corresponding to a bust circumference of 75-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140). The circumference of the sweater for each size is 110 (120) 128 (134) 136 (146) 152 (158) cm and it is designed to have positive ease of 30-40 cm for the smaller sizes and 20-30 cm for the larger sizes, compared to this measurement, so before you choose which size to knit, we recommend that you measure your bust circumference or circumference at the widest area and add 20-40 cm to this measurement to find the best size for you.
Example: if your bust circumference is 87 cm, we recommend making the blouse in size S with a positive ease of 33 cm.
