Say hello to the standard size Big Bottomed Weebee doll! I designed this doll originally as a simple bust to design hair caps on but everyone in the Facebook group loved it so much that they asked for a pattern for it! So I added a beautiful hair cap - which also fits the standard size Weebee doll with legs - and here it is!

This chunky doll stands at around 8 inches tall with aran/no4/worsted weight yarn and a 3mm hook with my personal gauge/tension. Smaller and larger dolls can be made with different weight yarns and hook sizes.

This doll can share some (but not all!) items of clothing with the standard size Weebee doll as well as hair caps and hats - please see notes at end of pattern for further info.

Weebee is named after my youngest niece Phoebe - when she was first born my daughter and Phoebe’s older sister couldn’t say her name properly yet and she has been nicknamed ‘Weebee’ ever since.
