This crochet pattern is for a big, friendly monster with very squishy bum cheeks.

This easy (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 300 grams size 6 super bulky yarn in colour of your choice
• 25 grams each size 4 worsted weight yarn in Black, White, Green
• Crochet hooks: size N 9.00 mm and size G 4.00 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker

Notes
• Big Chonk’s legs and body are worked in one piece.
• This pattern uses both Super Bulky yarn and Worsted Weight yarn.
• Big Chonk is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Big Chonk’s arms and eye are worked separately and sewn on.
• Big Chonk stands roughly 13 inches tall.
