Way back in 2016, this big crochet infinity scarf was a part of my made-to-order accessories collection. I mostly focus on garment patterns now, but I’ve wanted to share some of my old accessory patterns for free on the blog.

This infinity scarf is big on purpose, long enough to be double wrapped around your neck and wide enough to be pulled up over your head as a hood. It makes for a great extra layer in the winter cold.

Beginner-Intermediate level

worsted weight yarn in two colors if making contrasting edging as shown
N – 9.00mm hook

Finished Cowl Measurements: approximately 60 inches (152 centimeters) circumference by 15 inches (38 centimeters) wide. Size can be adjusted by adding or subtracting rows or stitches, but keep in mind this scarf is designed as intended to be large enough to double as a hood in cold weather.
