Big cables and a relaxed fit put this right in style, big needles make for a fast knit! This hat could be made from many different bulky or super bulky yarns.

Washing and gently blocking is very important for the finished look of this hat, as it relaxes the cables and gives the finished fabric a soft, lofty feel. Gauge is not critical since the hat is loose and slouchy, but you should have about 14 sts over 4 inches in rib pattern with smaller needles, and 3 sts per inch in the cable pattern with larger needles.
